Junk Removal in Star, ID
Where the County Line Runs Through Town
Treasure Valley Junk Removal sets up junk removal in Star, ID on the same public chart as Boise — and because the Ada–Canyon county line runs through Star's own city limits, this is the one town page that explains which landfill your load is headed for.
Star grew faster than its junk could leave
Star was a small State Street town on the Boise River until the valley's growth wave reached it; now new subdivisions run north of the highway and south toward the river, and the town it used to be sits in the middle on bigger lots. New houses make new-house hauling — the pieces that came from the last place and never fit, the packaging a move keeps shedding, the first fence-and-yard cycle. The older river-bottom lots make the other kind: a barn, a tack room, a shop holding somebody's decades, all with a date on it once the lot sells. Both are one call.
Which side of the line decides where the truck goes
Star's city limits straddle the Ada–Canyon county line, and the line matters to disposal, not to price. An Ada-side address sends the finished end of a load through Ada County's transfer and landfill system, which ends at the Ada County Landfill off Seamans Gulch Road in Boise. A Canyon-side address sends it to Pickles Butte, the county landfill south of Nampa. On both sides, everything usable leaves the truck first: furniture to valley donation centers with the receipt to you, metal and electronics to recyclers.
The middle of the route, not the end of it
Star sits on Highway 44 between Eagle to the east and Middleton to the west, so it is the middle of a route along that highway, not the end of one. Text photos to (208) 591-8785 for a tight range; the hauler confirms the exact number at the door before anything moves. Big mixed loads price by truck fraction, heavy material by weight, and a barn or shop clear-out on a river lot is walked first, free, and quoted per load.
Star pays the Boise numbers, not Star numbers
Single item $75–$150, minimum typically about $119, quarter truck $180–$250, full truck $450–$600: the one sheet of Boise junk removal prices is the sheet on both sides of the county line, with no distance line and no Star rate. The sheet already says Meridian, Nampa, Caldwell, Eagle and Kuna price identically to Boise; Star belongs in the same sentence. Metal-heavy loads and donatable furniture cost little to offload and pull a job toward the low end of its row.
Rides, doesn't ride, and the towns either side
Furniture and appliances come out of the room they are in; garages, shops and barns get cleared to the walls; move-out leftovers, fence and yard piles, remodel debris and hot tubs cut out of patios all ride. The two things that never ride are the same as everywhere on this site — open paint, stains and solvents, which a household hazardous waste program takes, and asbestos-suspect material from an older barn or house, which needs licensed abatement — and the hauler names them on sight rather than loading them. Fridges and freezers ride, with the refrigerant recovered at a certified facility. The Eagle page covers the next town east and the Middleton page the next one west.
